શ્રી સ્વામિનારાયણ ગુરુકુળ મેમનગર ખાતે 80મા સ્વતંત્રતા પર્વની ભવ્ય ઉજવણી

અમદાવાદ સ્થિત શ્રી સ્વામિનારાયણ ગુરુકુળ મેમનગર ખાતે 15મી ઓગસ્ટના રોજ 80મા સ્વતંત્રતા પર્વની ખૂબ જ ભવ્ય અને ઉત્સાહસભર ઉજવણી કરવામાં આવી હતી. પરમ પૂજ્ય ગુરુવર્ય શ્રી માધવપ્રિયદાસજી સ્વામી તથા પરમ પૂજ્ય પુરાણી શ્રી બાલકૃષ્ણદાસજી સ્વામીની દિવ્ય ઉપસ્થિતિમાં યોજાયેલા આ મહોત્સવમાં વિશાળ સંખ્યામાં ભક્તજનો અને વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ઉપસ્થિત રહ્યા હતા. આ ઉજવણીનું મુખ્ય આકર્ષણ ગુરુકુળના 500 વિદ્યાર્થીઓ દ્વારા સતત અઢી કલાક સુધી રજૂ કરાયેલો દેશભક્તિથી સભર કાર્યક્રમ હતો, જેમાં મહાભારતના વીર અભિમન્યુથી લઈને ભારતીય વાયુસેનાના ફાઈટર પાયલોટ અભિમન્યુની શૂરવીરતા તેમજ વીર સંભાજીના પરાક્રમોનું અદ્ભુત નાટ્યાત્મક પ્રસ્તુતી કરવામાં આવી હતી. આ ઉપરાંત વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ બોમ્બે પીટી, માસ પરેડ, યોગાસન અને પિરામિડ જેવા વિવિધ શારીરિક કૌશલ્યો રજૂ કરીને સૌને મંત્રમુગ્ધ કરી દીધા હતા. એમાં પણ જ્યારે દેશભક્તિના ગીત સાથે બસો જેટલા બાળકોએ સાથે મળી સમુદ્રમાં ઊઠે એવી લહેરો ઉત્પન્ન કરીને સૌને અચંબિત કરી દીધા હતા.

 આ પ્રસંગે પરમ પૂજ્ય માધવપ્રિયદાસજી સ્વામીએ બાળકોની પ્રસ્તુતિને વધાવતા સંદેશ આપ્યો હતો કે આઝાદી અનેક બલિદાનો પછી મળી છે, અને દેશનું ભવિષ્ય એવા આ વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ જ પોતાની ઊંચી ઉડાનો દ્વારા આ આઝાદીને જાળવી રાખવાની છે.

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm on 15th August at Shri Swaminarayan Gurukul Memnagar, Ahmedabad. A large number of devotees and students were present at this festival, which was organized in the divine presence of His Holiness Guruvarya Shri Madhavpriyadasji Swami and His Holiness Purani Shri Balakrishnadasji Swami. The main attraction of this celebration was the patriotic program presented by 500 students of the Gurukul for two and a half hours continuously, in which the bravery of Abhimanyu, the hero of Mahabharata, the bravery of the Indian Air Force fighter pilot Abhimanyu, and the feats of Veer Sambhaji were presented in a wonderful dramatic way. Apart from this, the students mesmerized everyone by presenting various physical skills like Bombay PT, mass parade, yoga asana and pyramid. Even when hundreds of children came together to sing patriotic songs and created waves that could rise in the sea, everyone was amazed. On this occasion, Param Pujya Madhavpriyadasji Swami, while welcoming the children's performance, gave the message that freedom was achieved after many sacrifices, and these students, who are the future of the country, have to maintain this freedom through their high flights.
