78 મા સ્વતંત્રતા દિવસની શુભસવારે રાજ્યપાલ શ્રી આચાર્ય દેવવ્રતજીએ રાજભવનના પ્રાંગણમાં રાષ્ટ્રધ્વજ ફરકાવીને રાષ્ટ્રધ્વજને સલામી આપી હતી.

ધ્વજવંદન પછી રાજ્યપાલ શ્રી આચાર્ય દેવવ્રતજીએ રાજભવન પરિસરમાં વૃક્ષારોપણ કર્યું હતું. તેમણે જેકફ્રુટ- ફણસનું વૃક્ષ વાવ્યું હતું.

ધ્વજવંદન સમારોહમાં એસ.આર.પી.એફ. જૂથ-૨, અમદાવાદના કંપની કમાન્ડર તથા જવાનો અને જૂથ-૧૨, ગાંધીનગરના જવાનોએ ભાગ લીધો હતો.

15 મી ઓગસ્ટના પર્વે રાજભવનના ધ્વજવંદન સમારોહમાં અધિક મુખ્ય સચિવ શ્રી જે.પી. ગુપ્તા રાજ્યપાલશ્રીના અગ્ર સચિવ શ્રી અશોક શર્મા, રાજ્યપાલશ્રીના એડીસી લેફ્ટનન્ટ કમાન્ડર મનુ તોમર અને શ્રી કે. સિદ્ધાર્થ (આઇપીએસ), ગાંધીનગરની વેદ ઇન્ટરનેશનલ સ્કૂલ તથા અન્ય શાળાના બાળકો ઉપરાંત રાજભવનના અધિકારીઓ અને કર્મચારીઓએ ઉત્સાહભેર ભાગ લીધો હતો

Governor Shri Acharya Devvrat salutes the National Flag at the forecourt of Raj Bhavan on Independence Day

On the auspicious occasion of 78th Independence Day, Governor Shri Acharya Devvrat Ji unfurled the National Flag at the forecourt of Raj Bhavan and saluted the National Flag.

After unfurling the national flag, Governor Acharya Devvrat planted a sapling at the Raj Bhawan. He planted a jackfruit tree.

At the flag hoisting ceremony at Raj Bhavan on 15th August, the Additional Chief Secretary, Shri J.P. Gupta, Principal Secretary to Governor, Shri Ashok Sharma, ADCs to Governor, Lieutenant Commander Manu Tomar and Shri K. Siddharth (IPS), Veda International School, Gandhinagar and other school children along with officers and staff of Raj Bhavan participated enthusiastically
