કેરળમાં ચોમાસાની ધમાકેદાર એન્ટ્રી હવામાન વિભાગે જાહેર કર્યું રેડ એલર્ટ 8 દિવસ વહેલા ચોમાસનું સત્તાવાર આગમન

હવામાન વિભાગ અનુસાર આ વર્ષે 16 વર્ષમાં આવું પહેલી વખત થયું છે જ્યારે ચોમાસું આઠ દિવસ વહેલા પહોંચ્યું છે. 

હવામાન વિભાગના અહેવાલ અનુસાર કેરળમાં આજે સત્તાવાર રીતે ચોમાસાની એન્ટ્રી થઈ ચૂકી છે. જે તેના નક્કી સમય એટલે કે 1 જૂનથી આશરે એક અઠવાડિયા વહેલું કેરળ આવી પહોંચ્યું છે. આ સાથે કેરળમાં ચોમાસાના આગમનનો 16 વર્ષ જૂનો રેકોર્ડ તૂટી ગયો છે. આગામી સાત દિવસ ભારે વરસાદની આગાહી કરવામાં આવી છે. ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે રાજ્યમાં ચોમાસાના આગમન માટે તમામ અનુકૂળ પરિસ્થિતિઓ બની હતી. ઓછા દબાણવાળા વિસ્તાર અને આગળ વધતા ચોમાસાની સિસ્ટમના કારણે ગત બે દિવસમાં કેરળના અનેક ભાગમાં ભારે વરસાદ પણ નોંધાયો હતો.

IMD ના પ્રાદેશિક નિર્દેશક નીથા કે ગોપાલે ચોમાસાની અપડેટ આપતા કહ્યું કે “ચોમાસાનું કેરળમાં આગમન થઈ ગયું છે. સમગ્ર કેરળ અને આપણા પડોશી રાજ્યો કર્ણાટક અને તમિલનાડુના કેટલાક ભાગોને આવરી લીધા છે. આ વર્ષે ચોમાસાની ધમાકેદાર એન્ટ્રી . 

આ વરસાદ આગામી છ થી સાત દિવસ સુધી ચાલુ રહેવાની ધારણા છે. અને, આગામી ત્રણ દિવસમાં ખૂબ જ ભારેથી અતિ ભારે વરસાદ થવાની ધારણા છે. કેરળના ઘણા ભાગોમાં રેડ એલર્ટ જારી કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. બાકીના દક્ષિણ જિલ્લાઓ એક ઓરેન્જ એલર્ટ રહેશે. IMDએ 2025 માટે સરેરાશ કરતાં વધુ ચોમાસાના વરસાદની આગાહી કરી છે, જેનાથી ખરીફ સિઝનના પાકમાં રેકોર્ડ ઉત્પાદનની અપેક્ષા છે.

According to the Meteorological Department, this is the first time in 16 years that the monsoon has arrived eight days early. According to the Meteorological Department report, the monsoon has officially entered Kerala today. It has reached Kerala about a week ahead of its scheduled time i.e. June 1. With this, the 16-year-old record of monsoon arrival in Kerala has been broken. Heavy rains have been predicted for the next seven days. It is worth mentioning that all the conditions were favorable for the arrival of monsoon in the state. Due to the low pressure area and the advancing monsoon system, heavy rains were also recorded in many parts of Kerala in the last two days.

Giving an update on the monsoon, IMD Regional Director Neetha K Gopal said, “Monsoon has arrived in Kerala. It has covered the entire Kerala and some parts of our neighbouring states Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. This year, the monsoon has made a big entry. The rains are expected to continue for the next six to seven days. And, very heavy to extremely heavy rains are expected in the next three days. A red alert has been issued in many parts of Kerala. The remaining southern districts will remain on an orange alert. IMD has predicted above-average monsoon rainfall for 2025, which is expected to lead to record production in the Kharif season crops.
