રાજકોટ મહાનગર પાલિકા દ્વારા તિરંગાયાત્રાનું આયોજન સ્વાતંત્ર દિવસની ઉજવણીના ભાગરૂપે આખું રાજકોટ શહેર દેશભક્તિના રંગમાં રંગાયું 

સ્વાતંત્ર દિવસની ઉજવણીના ભાગરૂપે આજે આખું રાજકોટ શહેર દેશભક્તિના રંગમાં રંગાઈ ગયુ હોય તેવું લાગી રહ્યું હતું ત્યારે સ્વતંત્રતા પર્વની ઉજવણીના ભાગરૂપે રાજકોટ મહાનગર પાલિકા દ્વારા તિરંગાયાત્રાનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. 

આ ત્રિરંગા યાત્રામાં ગુજરાત રાજ્યના મુખ્યમંત્રી ભુપેન્દ્ર પટેલ, કેન્દ્રીય મંત્રી જે.પી. નડ્ડા, ભાજપ પ્રદેશ અધ્યક્ષ સી આર પાટીલ, અને ગૃહમંત્રી હર્ષ સંઘવી સહિતના નેતાઓ કાર્યક્રમ સ્થળે અવા પહોંચ્યા હતા.

 કેન્દ્રીય મંત્રી જે.પી. નડ્ડાએ તેના ભાષણ દરમ્યાન જણાવ્યું હતું કે આ ધરતીએ અનેક સંત-મહાત્માઓને જન્મ આપ્યો છે. બધી જ જગ્યાએ ત્રીરંગા જ જોવા મળી રહ્યા છે. આથી આઝાદીનો સમય યાદ આવે છે. આઝાદ ભારતની તસવીર સ્થાપિત કરવામાં ગુજરાતનું બહુ મોટું યોગદાન છે આથી મહાત્મા ગાંધીની ભૂમિને કેમ ભૂલી શકાય. સરદાર વલ્લભભાઈ પટેલને પણ ન ભૂલી શકાય.કોંગ્રેસના મિત્રો તેનો એક જ પરિવાર યાદ રહે છે, આઝાદીની લડાઈમાં યોગદાન આપનાર સરદાર પટેલ યાદ રહેતા નથી સાથે આ ત્રીરંગાયાત્રામાં રાજકોટની સ્કૂલ-કોલેજના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ તેમજ મોટી સંખ્યામાં રાજકોટના નગરજનો જોડાયા હતા. 

તમામ લોકોના હાથમાં રાષ્ટ્રધ્વજ સાથે દેશભક્તિનો રંગ જોવા મળી રહ્યો હતો,શહેરના બહુમાળી ભવન ખાતે યુવાનો અને યુવતીઓ પરંપરાગત વેશભૂષામાં ગરબાની રમઝટ બોલાવી હતી. તિરંગાયાત્રામાં મોટી સંખ્યામાં શાળાના બાળકો એનસીસી કેડેટ તથા લોકો ઉમળકા ભેર ઊમટી પડ્યા હતા.

Rajkot Municipal Corporation organizes Tiranga Yatra as part of Independence Day celebrations 

As part of the Independence Day celebrations, the entire Rajkot city seemed to be painted in the colours of patriotism when the Rajkot Municipal Corporation organized a Tiranga Yatra as part of the Independence Day celebrations. 

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Union Minister JP Nadda were also present at the event. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP president Amit Shah were present in the meeting. Union Minister J.P. During his speech, Nadda said that this land has given birth to many saints and mahatmas. 

There are thorns everywhere. This reminds me of the time of freedom. Gujarat has a huge contribution in establishing the image of independent India, so why should the land of Mahatma Gandhi be forgotten. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel can never be forgotten. Friends of the Congress, only one family remembers Sardar Patel, who contributed to the freedom struggle, as well as a large number of school-college students of Rajkot and the citizens of Rajkot joined this three-way journey. With the national flag in the hands of all the people, the color of patriotism was seen, the youth and girls in traditional attire at the multi-storey building of the city. A large number of school children and NCC cadets took part in the parade.
